Infection Control
The Infection Control Officer is responsible for:
- Administrative management of infectious disease policies and procedures
- Regulatory compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Immunizations and PPD skin testing
- On-site mandatory education and training programs for new hires, current employees and volunteer members
- 24-hour post-exposure counseling, referral and treatment hotline
- Medical product evaluation, selection and review
- Monthly infection control and safety reports
