County Executive

Aisha Braveboy was elected County Executive of Prince George's County on June 3, 2025, during a special election, and took office on June 19, 2025. County Executive Braveboy takes office from Acting County Executive Tara Jackson, who served the period between former County Executive Angela Alsobrooks’ election to the U. S. Senate and the special election in which County Executive Braveboy was elected.

Ms. Braveboy was sworn in as the County Executive of Prince George’s County on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, after having served six years as Prince George’s County State’s Attorney.
