Hyattsville - District I is located in the northwestern region of the County and bordered to the southwest by Washington, D.C. and to the northwest by Montgomery County. Communities with Hyattsville - Division I include Berwyn Heights, Bladensburg, Brentwood, Cheverly, College Park, Colmar Manor, Cottage City, Edmonston, Greenbelt, Hyattsville, Mount Rainier, New Carrollton, Riverdale Park, and University Park.

All residents of Hyattsville - District I are encouraged to participate in meetings held to discuss public safety issues with the community. Coffee Club meetings are open to everyone. Community members are encouraged to attend and ask questions that inform officers about community-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for participants to meet and collaborate with neighbors and officers to combat crime.
