New Carrollton Garage

The New Carrollton Garage opened in December 1986 to serve those using Metro, AMTRAK, and MARC. This 1,036-space garage was the first major parking facility to be operated by the Authority.

It is at 85 - 100% capacity most business days.

This is a fully automated garage:

• Extended parking is welcomed, please park on upper levels 3-4 and 5 floors or follow posted signs
• This is a pay-on-foot facility and the pay stations are located on the ground floor by the elevators north and south sides
• Credit card payments are accepted- no coins or metro access cards are accepted.
• The pay stations offer a lost ticket option at a higher rate, please safeguard your ticket
• For emergency and other problems, please use the helpline located at the pay stations and gates
• Boot returns are Monday thru Friday 1 pm to 5 pm (No weekends return)
• Effective Friday May 22, 2020, cash payments will no longer be accepted.
