County Operating Status
The Prince George's County Government is open and operating.
Wednesday, February 12, 2025:
- County Government: Closed
- Essential employees must report to work on-time as directed by their agency
- All non-essential employees will be on administrative leave
- No waste collections. All residential bulky, regular trash, and recycling curbside collections are suspended. Regular waste collections will resume on Thursday, February 13, operating on a slide schedule, weather permitting.
- PGCPS: Closed, Code Yellow
- County Courthouse: Closed
