Prince George's County Government Will Close Tomorrow, February 12, 2025, Due To Winter Weather

LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County Government will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, due to the significant winter weather event. Essential employees must report to work on-time as directed by their agency and all non-essential employees will be on administrative leave.

TheBus, Call-A-Bus, and PGC Link will not operate on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, and transportation to all medical appointments has been suspended. To reschedule any cancelled reservations, residents may call 301-499-8603.

Yard waste and organics/compost collections is suspended tomorrow, February 12, 2025, and will resume on Thursday, February 13, 2025, weather permitted. In addition, all bulky, scrap tires or white goods scheduled for collection on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, will be rescheduled.

The Prince George’s County Courthouse is also closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

PGC311 will operate on an extended schedule from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM tomorrow, February 12, 2025. Residents can contact PGC311 for questions related to County Government operations and services.
