New Development and Preservation

Responsibilities

The New Development and Preservation Division administers and manages federal entitlement programs and County resources to preserve, protect, and expand affordable housing options throughout the County.  HDD works with mission-oriented real estate developers and non-profit developers to build new construction, rehabilitate existing housing and preserve naturally affordable housing, particularly in areas of the County with projected rent growth.
