County Executive Aisha Braveboy Appoints LaTara Harris Chief of Staff

Prince George’s County, MD: County Executive Aisha Braveboy announced the appointment of LaTara Harris as Chief of Staff to the office of the County Executive. Harris, a resident of Prince George’s County, comes to county service with extensive legislative and corporate experience. She served most recently as CEO of Crittenton Services of Greater Washington; and served

 as Director of External and Legislative Affairs for AT&T for over a decade. In her role as Chief of Staff to County Executive Aisha Braveboy, Harris will be a key advisor and strategist to Ms. Braveboy - ensuring that the County Executive’s priorities are effectively executed.

On asking Ms. Harris to join her team, County Executive Braveboy said:

 “I’m excited to have LaTara Harris on my team. It’s a huge win for us. I’m familiar with the incredible success she’s had at both Crittenton Services and AT&T and am confident she’ll be a tremendous asset to the county. LaTara is a change agent who is skilled at building productive organizations. That’s a crucial skill that will guide our team and keep us on task, fulfilling the promises I made to the people of Prince George’s County.”

Ms. Harris has been recognized across many community and business areas including, Maryland Top 100 Women Award, Women of Color in STEM, National Congress of Black Women, the Washington Business Journal, and Points of Light Foundation.

Ms. Harris earned her undergraduate degree from Bowie State University, and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
