DPIE Will Be Closed in Observance and Celebration of JUNETEENTH!

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) and other County government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Juneteenth is celebrated annually on June 19 to mark the day in 1865 when Union soldiers notified enslaved people in Texas that they were free, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
