New Department of Family Services Office Location
The Department of Family Services is Moving
The Department of Family Services (DFS) located at the Harriet Hunter Building in Camp Springs, MD, is relocating to the New Health and Human Services (HHS) Building in Capitol Heights. Services that have already moved to the new building include the following:
- Older Adult Services
- Children, Youth and Families services, and
- Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking services
Closed Address
6420 Allentown Road, Camp Springs, MD 20785 | DFS will be permanently closed at this location after July 11, 2025.
New Health and Human Services Building Location
9187 Central Ave, Capitol Heights, MD 20743
The new state-of-the-art HHS Building will house the Department of Family Services (DFS), the Health Department (HD), the Department of Social Services' Administrative Services Division and Adult Services Bureau teams, and a Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) senior activity center to better serve our older adults in Prince George's County.
