Free Document Shredding & Household Hazardous Waste Event

This free event is open to the public (non-commercial only) and offers an easy, safe, and secure disposal of personal documents.
Bring up to five (5) boxes of paper per vehicle
Please remember to remove all paper clips, staples, and other bindings
Documents will NOT be accepted by walk-up or from businesses.
AND
Due to ongoing construction at the landfill, residents will be able to drive thru and drop off accepted household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic items.
Open to County residents ONLY (ID may be required)
Commercial vehicles and commercially generated items are NOT permitted.
Multiple trips are not allowed for individuals or vehicles.
Special accommodations can be provided upon request.

This event will occur at the Largo Government Center at 9200 Basil Ct. Largo, MD 20774 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Please be in line by 1:00 PM to receive service.
