Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Christmas Day
County offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will close on Monday, December 25, 2023, in observance of the Christmas Day holiday
LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) announces the following services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Monday, December 25, 2023:

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will operate regular service on Saturday, December 23, 2023. TheBus does not operate on Sundays and will also not operate on Monday, December 25, 2023. Regular operation services for TheBus will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Additionally, the County’s Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Monday, December 25. Regular operation services will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.
Also, PGC311 will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, and will return to regular operations on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
