Prince George’s County Announces Closings for Juneteenth Holiday 
County government offices, except for public safety agencies, will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday

 

LARGO, MD – The following offices, services, and facilities will be closed or suspended on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

Residential Food Scraps and Yard Trim Collections Regular collections occur on Monday, June 16.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will operate as scheduled on Thursday, June 19, except for Route 51X. Regular operations of Route51X will resume on Friday, June 20, 2025. Regular operations of the County’s Call-A-Bus, and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus, and PGC Link services will resume on Friday, June 20, 2025. 

The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Regular business hours will resume on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Also, PGC311 will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, and will resume regular operations on Friday, June 20, 2025, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com
