Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Memorial Day
County Government offices, except for public safety agencies, will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day
LARGO, MD – The following offices, services, and facilities will be closed or suspended on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will not operate on Monday, May 26, 2025. Regular operations of TheBus will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate on Monday, May 26, 2025. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Also, PGC311 will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, and will resume regular operations on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at PGC311.com.
