Prince George’s County Offers FREE Drive-Up Cat and Dog Vaccination Clinic
Sunday, June 22, 2025; pre-registration is required

LARGO, MD – The Department of the Environment (DoE) Animal Services Division (ASD), in partnership with the Prince George’s County Health Department, is sponsoring a FREE Drive-Up Dog and Cat Vaccination Clinic on Sunday, June 22, at the Prince George’s County Animal Services and Adoption Facility, located at 3750 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, MD. The FREE vaccination clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies last, and it will proceed rain or shine.

The Drive-Up Cat and Dog Vaccination Clinic will provide free rabies vaccinations and micro-chipping for Prince George’s County residents. Free pet licenses will also be offered.  Proof of residency is required.

“Rabies is a serious health threat to pets, and when left unvaccinated, pets can be exposed to rabies when encountering other animals with the virus,” said David Fisher, Associate Director of the Animal Services Division. “We are excited to continue to partner with the Health Department to offer this important health service to County residents, which not only protects our pets, but our family, friends, and neighbors from this virus.”

Here are a few key guidelines to have your pet serviced at the clinic:

  • Pets will be vaccinated in the car when possible.
  • All cats must be in a carrier, and dogs must be on a leash and under control, should they need to leave the vehicle for their vaccinations.
  • Pets must be at least four (4) months old to receive a rabies vaccine.  Rabies vaccines are good for one (1) year unless a prior rabies certificate is provided at the time of service.
  • Be prepared to stay in your vehicle for an extended period.
  • ONLY pre-registered customers will be serviced.
