Continuum of Care for Substance Use Disorders
We provide education and support services to communities impacted by substance use and misuse, including tobacco. Our programs focus on prevention, engaging community partners and individuals at various stages along one's wellness journey.
Alcohol & Drug Prevention
Provides information and education to county residents, schools and community-based organizations about the negative impact and dangers associated with alcohol and drug use.
Tobacco Use & Prevention
Assists Prince George's County residents in providing programs and activities to prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and to build a healthier community.
Linkage to Care for Children, Youth and Families
We support the safety and connection of youth and their families with behavioral health needs, actively facilitating relationships with community-based providers.
Bridges2Success
A collaborative partnership between the Health Department and the Department of Juvenile Services. Case Managers provide community-based support services to juvenile offenders who are residents of Prince George’s County and have been referred by the Department of Juvenile Services.
Step Forward
Reduces the stigma of talking about and getting help for mental illness and substance abuse.
Recovery Clubhouse - Adolescent
Support services for Adolescent at risk for substance use or exposure.
Linkage to Care for Adults
We screen individuals for mental health, substance use, and other life needs and connect them to community-based providers.
The Bridge Center at Adams House
Veterans, young adults (18-24), and individuals recently released from jail who are Prince George’s County residents are connected to services that improve physical health, behavioral health and promote financial stability.
The Langley Park Multi-Service Center
Latino and Hispanic residents are connected to essential health and human services offered at the center and in the community.
Community Engagement & Cross-Sector Collaboration
We establish public-private partnerships with community-based organizations and government agencies to improve health outcomes.
Overdose Response Training
Free training and free intranasal naloxone kit, which reverses an opioid overdose and helps prevent death.
